At Milestones & Music, we work to provide individual and group mental health sessions that meet the needs of each of our clients. Targeted musical interventions allow a means of communication and self-expression that for clients in a safe and unassuming way. Music therapy has been seen to be an effective modality of treatment for those who are resistant to other, more traditional forms of therapy.
Through evidence-based music interventions, clients can work on goal areas such as emotional processing and expression, self acceptance and expression, and learning coping skills. All music utilized within sessions are selected and modified for client ability and preferences.
