Founded in 2018 by Allison, MT-BC, Milestones & Music is your source for music therapy services in north-central West Virginia. Here at Milestones & Music, we are dedicated to providing you with the very best music therapy services. Our diverse and dynamic professional team has a variety of experience working with numerous populations, including those with Autism Spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, Down’s Syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s, dementia, and more!
All of our team members are board-certified music therapists approved by the American Music Therapy Association and Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT), which is accredited by The National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA); the same governing body for Occupational Therapy and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
We serve multiple counties and a variety of clients, including schools, private clients, and assisted living facilities in the area. As a practice, we are committed to advocacy and education about music therapy for the residents of West Virginia. We believe in the potential of music therapy in this state and hope to continue providing the service for as a long as possible.

Though it has been decades since the foundation of music therapy as a healthcare profession, there is still much work to be done. This is especially true in the case of West Virginia and our many rural areas. Alongside our services, we attend a variety of community events and inservices to expand the region’s awareness and understanding of music therapy.
