After a weekend of rest, I’ve had some time to really reflect on the last week- our very first High Notes Jam Camp. AND we got to hold it in my hometown of Grafton.
We spent the week planning our ‘road trip’, exploring a variety of instruments and musical terms, practicing social skills, and of course making awesome music!
On Thursday, we let the kiddos decide which songs they wanted to perform in our performance on Friday. They chose some great songs including Old Town Road, How Far I’ll Go, and one camper chose Memories by Maroon 5 because he ‘wanted everyone to be able to remember this moment’. How. stinking. sweet.

My heart is just overflowed with gratitude for my community and for the families that came allowed us to spend the week with their kiddos. A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers for helping everything run smoothly, and of course all of our sponsors!
